Brief Description of Research Interest:

My primary research interest is in the neural underpinnings of behavior and decision making. In particular, my work is focused on the dynamic, bidirectional interactions between an animal's internal and external environments and the circuits that control behavior. Currently, I am investigating how feeding decisions are modulated in order to maintain nutrient homeostasis in the fruit fly.
