Brief Description of Research Interest:

My research work is focused on organic bioelectronic devices. My present work is on the electroactive microbe as a key element integrated with OECTs for sensing specific chemical recognition, such as toxins, pathogens, disease-causing microbes, etc. I am using electroactive microbes such as Shewanella Oneidensis and engineered E. coli. My previous research was on fully soft OECT, and its performance under mechanical strain was demonstrated for the first time by amplifying the physiological signals. Another manuscript with a similar device for neuromorphic computing is in progress. Apart from these I have developed a few polymers for organic devices and explored polymer science.
