Intersection between Nutrition and Neuroscience
Brief Description of Research Interest:

As a nutrition major with minors in neuroscience and chemistry, my research interests lie at the intersection of nutrition and neuroscience, particularly in the context of mental health and neurodegenerative diseases. I am intrigued by the impact of dietary components on brain function and how nutritional and environmental interventions can influence mental well-being and mitigate the risk of neurodegenerative conditions. My focus encompasses exploring the role of nutrition and the gut microbiome in mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety, as well as investigating dietary strategies for preventing or delaying the onset of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
