Brief Description of Research Interest:

I received my PhD in Cancer biology from Institut Curie, Paris, France. My PhD work focused on understanding therapy resistance in glioblastoma tumors from both tumor cells and the microenvironment perspective. Building on my knowledge and skill set in tumor biology and therapy resistance, I joined UCSF as a postdoctoral researcher to investigate chemoresistance mechanisms in metastatic osteosarcoma tumors. I am focusing on elucidating both intrinsic and extrinsic tumor factors that drive chemoresistance in metastatic niches using lineage tracing techniques, mouse models, and transcriptomics. In addition to my PhD and present postdoctoral work, I have had the opportunity to work on oral cancer as part of the International Cancer Genome Consortium, and I have extensively worked on designing biosensors to detect different types of biological molecules. During my academic career, I have drafted, proofread, and peer-reviewed articles. I have also worked as a copy and substantive editor at Crimson interactive for a short period of time.
